1. When did you start martial arts, and what motivated you to begin?

I started Jiu jitsu in 2015 after I had been watching the UFC for a few years. Seeing how dominant better grappling is in most fights made me want to focus on that over striking.

2. What made you decide to become a instructor?

I first started teaching covering classes when my old coach was away, and enjoyed it. I find it rewarding to help people and see the improvements that follow.

3. What are your goals as a coach or personal aspirations?

To be the best coach I can be and eventually be able to help develop very high level grapplers.

4. What message would you like to share with your students?

Try to be as well-rounded as you can be. No one technique will work against everyone.

5. What advice would you give to someone hesitating to start martial arts?

Everyone was in the same position at one point. There's no harder day than the first, and the benefits are undeniable.
