Revolution Martial Arts: The Beginning of Positive Change
Revolution Martial Arts began with a vision to bring about positive change through a small revolution in martial arts. It was founded by Ray (Rafael) Povh in 2006 under the name Revolution Taekwondo. Having explored various martial arts over the years, Ray discovered Taekwondo in 1980 and was captivated by its values and unique appeal. He became deeply convinced of Taekwondo’s timeless value that continues to shine brighter with the passage of time.
Starting with his first centre, Hansu Taekwondo in 1996, Ray went on to establish several Taekwondo centres. However, he ultimately chose to pour all his passion and dedication into Revolution. In 2018, he discovered the value of Jiu-Jitsu and took a bold step forward by integrating both Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu under the banner of Revolution Martial Arts.
Ray later assembled a team of young, talented, world-class instructors, turning Revolution into a place where the rich tradition of martial arts seamlessly blends with innovation. Ray and the instructional team have consistently witnessed the profound positive impact Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu have on individuals, families, and the community at large. This shared belief drives their unwavering commitment to creating unique programs and providing exceptional training.
The tireless dedication of Revolution Martial Arts instructors has yielded extraordinary achievements. Today, numerous families proudly belong to the Revolution community, and many athletes have earned spots on national teams and claimed national championship titles.
Looking ahead, Revolution Martial Arts aspires to partner with even more families while fostering future world champions. Together, we strive to continue building a legacy of positive transformation.
